  • Instant Draft Pre-fill: Debit and credit alerts automatically generate draft transactions ready for a single-tap confirm.
  • Private by Design: Raw SMS body text is not stored as a server-side message archive. Only your finalized encrypted transaction record syncs to your ledger.
  • Completely Optional: SMS detection can be enabled or disabled anytime in app settings. If disabled, BudgetOS never uses bank SMS.

Does this work on iPhone as well as Android?

Yes. Optional bank SMS tracking is available on both iOS and Android. It remains fully optional and private on each platform.

Can BudgetOS access OTPs or personal SMS?

No. BudgetOS filters strictly for transaction alert patterns (containing debit, credit, spent, transferred). One-time passwords (OTPs) and personal conversations are ignored.
