Apple Device Users
For users on iOS or macOS devices: By downloading, installing, or using BudgetOS, you acknowledge and agree that the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to your use of the App, in addition to our custom Terms of Service detailed below.
These Terms govern your use of BudgetOS. Please read them carefully before using the app. By using BudgetOS, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using BudgetOS ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
BudgetOS is a personal finance management application that helps you track income and expenses, scan receipts, manage budgets, and plan payments. The App is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Data & Backups
Your financial data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our secure servers. While we take every precaution to protect your data, we recommend keeping the mobile connected to wifi and mobile networks to ensure proper syncing with our secure servers. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure.
5. Fair Use Policy & Resource Limits
To ensure system stability, optimal performance, and fair access for all users, BudgetOS imposes reasonable fair usage limits on resource-intensive features. This includes, but is not limited to, receipt/invoice scanning, voice processing, and tasks performed by WhatsApp or FinChat agents. Excessive, automated, or continuous request volumes that obstruct or degrade the quality of service for other users may result in temporary or permanent rate-limiting, suspension, or restriction of these AI-powered features.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not: use the App for illegal financial activities; attempt to reverse-engineer the App; share your credentials with third parties; or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software in BudgetOS are owned by or licensed to BudgetOS Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
BudgetOS provides financial tracking tools for informational purposes only. We are not a licensed financial advisor. The App does not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice. Use information from the App at your own discretion.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email.
